I know I have been having very little issue with threat on my tank, but that might be because im a paladin and we hit pretty hard right now. I expect either:Ī) This is nerfed and tank threat remains unchanged.ī) This is nerfed and tank threat is buffed to compensate for the loss of the HoA. I wouldn't count on this remaining in the game for very long. Wait so I have to use HoA as tank (Bear) because I can't keep hold of aggro cuz my mates hit too damn hard? Why not just buff the threat w/o HoA? Comment by Link1213 on T03:12:14-06:00 I hit them but they ignore me and it's a little annoying to deal with. I struggle against enemies who have damage reduction buffs. Maybe, y'know, they could buff tank threat. In the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, Blizzard provided a baseline 11% Bonus Threat to all Tanks. In Patch 8.3, the Essence slot change was removed and replaced with a flat 50% increase for wearing the Heart of Azeroth. In Patch 8.2, each Essence slot that was unlocked gave 9% bonus threat, for a total of 27% increase.Throughout Battle for Azeroth, Threat was hotfixed multiple times in order for Tanks to be able to hold threat: Tank Threat has been a popular discussion topic during the Shadowlands Pre-Patch and Shadowlands Beta, with many tanks commenting that they were having issues holding threat off of DPS. Tanks who have the Heart of Azeroth equipped are also still benefitting from a large bonus threat multiplier.
